I have a 1999 1854 AlWeld. Had a bit of an accident a few years ago. I slammed into a log across the bottom and smashed the bottom strakes up against the bottom of the seat. They are up tight enough that water in the front can barely get to the back.

I am wanting to remove the bench so I can try to open a few of the strakes up so that water can easily go under the bench to the drain in the back...UNLESS someone has a better/easier suggestion? I thought about drilling/cutting holes in the bottom so I wouldn't have to remove it???

thank you,
Mike
