Guys....I've been studying my options and am kind of waiting for some spring sales to hit..but in the meantime, any thoughts on who has the best prices on Fish finders? Still tossing around the reviews of Hummingbird vs. Lowerance.

There's already a topic discussing the pros/cons of both companies, (that I didn't want to hijack)....please, let's keep this one to "BEST PRICE" ideas.
(edited after Truckmechanic posted....no offence Tm)

I have been looking around at them also. I have been told by several guys that the Humminbirds are easier to use, but I think I really like the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI and for the price it looks to be one of the best"deals" I have seen.

BPS has the Eagle FishElite 480 for $209 which I feel is a pretty good deal for a gps combo. It's $300+ everywhere else.

I would wait until you choose the unit you want and then do a google search for the product.
you will be amazed the amount of money you will save over the big 2 BPS and cabelas...
Three rivers marine, hodges marine, and defender are 3 sites that i have found to have better prices than the other 2..

But WOW......so many possibilities. Especially when you window shop like you are a millionaire!

I buy all my electronics from TheGPSStore.com They beat BPS by $200 when I ordered my Lowrance Elite 5 Gold. Super Great customer service. I had a little sd card issue and I e-mailed them after hours and received 3 phone calls and 2 e-mails by the next day. Then they did a follow up call 2 days later.

I really shouldn't say what problem I had   My unit uses a micro sd card and it came with a standard sd card (I thought). They happily told me to look at the sd card closely. The micro was inside of the standard sd card so you can down load stuff on your computer if you do not have an micro slot.
