First post here, so yall be easy on me.

Ive spent the last few weeks reading back to around 80 page, in the mod section. The question Im asking is what was the best thing you di to your rig when you rebuilt it?

Im still about 3-4 months out from rebuilding my 17 Fisher Marine. Im not making any huge changes, mostly strip, paint and new decks.

Mine is a 15' Fisher and the best thing I did was to remove the old waterlogged foam from the floor and replace it with a closed cell foam. It made my boat almost 200 lbs lighter which equates to being able to run in shallower water, runs faster, and handles better.

X2 on JM and Longshot,

On my build I would say motor. Not because its big but because its reliable and economical. I make some pretty long runs and the last thing I want to have to deal with is motor issues. Good luck with your build.

Well I did a total rebuild on my SeaArk and after running it now for a while, I'd have to say a good economical motor - I've got a 115 Etec and I also did the entire interior of the boat in marine linex and it's made a WORLD of difference. NOT cheap, but I'd do it all over again in a minute.

A few years ago I installed a foot controlled trolling motor to my 85 Mirrocraft, along with a small deck up front.Planning a few upgrades this winter.I'll keep ya posted.
