Left the dock with Wingding, Jake, Greg and Capt. Vince. Sped out to the Poormans Canyon in almost perfect seas. The weatherman sure was wrong - AGAIN!

Had our 1st yellowfin in the boat before 8 am. Spent the rest of the day working some super duper nice clear blue water and boated another dozen Mahi. We were on the lookout for Mr. Wahoo but he refused to come out and play.

We sped in even faster and the seas were again, a gentle 5 foot swell until we were within 10 miles and then we got some mixed seas with chop.

I have - we catch those inshore - on the tuna trips we are often in over 3000 feet of water so dropping to teh bottom gets a little tricky

For Tog we use small crabs as the preferred bait. Although, they will eat a myriad of other stuff
