Boat Identification

Can anybody help me find out info in this boat I just picked up?

I found a picture of it, but no specs. All I know is it's a 1648 Lowe Line. The ID tag is worn off.

Nice find! Take a good look at the wood inside the transom. That riser bolted on could just be a big band-aid. Is the motor a 4 stroke and what hp? Make sure the transom is supported by the bunks. Have fun modifying to your liking!

The riser is because it's setup for a jet. The transom looks pretty solid, no rot in the wood. There are some cracks at the corners that I'm going to have to get welded up and reinforced.

I forget what motor is on it, I know it's old and a 50hp. The previous owner said it ran 10 years ago. I don't have any pictures right now. Came with a jet and prop leg. I haven't messed with getting it running yet. I sprayed some oil in the cylinders and turned it over a few times. The throttle cable is seized up.

I mainly bought the boat to get the trailer. I have a newer 1648 Lowe with a 50/35 Honda Jet tiller and the trailer is pretty rough. This boat came with a newer ez loader trailer.

The bottom is pretty beat up, looks like it was parked on the rocks. It has been repaired in a few places.

The floor is a bit soft in one spot. If I keep the boat I'll gut it out and set it up as a tiller steer. I like that it doesn't have any bench seats.
