Boy I am stupid!

My front foot controlled trolling motor just quit in the middle of fishing the other night. Thought I blew the fuse. Checked fuse and it was okay. Took off fuse and connected straight to the battery to make sure problem wasn't in the fuse holder line. Got inside the decking and checked all wire connections. Thought maybe bad trolling motor plug so I disconnected motor from plug and hooked it up to the battery and Nothing :twisted: Anyway long story short there is a switch on the foot pedal and somehow it got changed to off. Boy I feel STUPID! Silver lining when I did my mod I made sure all the wiring was easily accessible and this was a good test as I was easily able to get to everything and check it out. :mrgreen:

Just wait until the switch dies. Mine of course had to die on a windy morning, with hybrids busting the surface all around me, and I couldn't find my electrical tape (it had fallen into the bilge). By the time I got it fixed, the sun had come out, and the hybrids had retreated to deeper water.
