charge 2 batteries

I have recently purchased by 1st alum boat 1991 tracker deep v16. my trolling motor batter is in bow of boat I would like to relocate to back next to cranking battery. Can I hook them together so my 40Hp evinrude will charge both batteris at the same time while running or by just hooking up 1 charger when back at the house. Great Web site Thanks
Does any one have Pics or Ideas for adding more storage that is why I want to move the battery to the rear it will empty storage compartment batter is currently in.

You could, But it will tax your charging system, and eventually destroy your deep cycle battery IMO.. There really is no reason to have to charge your crank battery when not in use, the motor should keep it charged.. You could put a 2 amp mainatin charger on it.. They do make a battery safe device that will control the voltage of the boat gen/alt so it doesnt overcharge the deep cycle..
