Decking Ideas for a Lowe 1440M

I would like to install a deck in my 1440M, currently the hull is made of .064. I would like to put something stiff like .080. Any suggestions on materials and installation?

Have you checked the mods section?There's a load of info.Just remember where wood is used, aluminum angle and sheet will work better.
