Headed out last Sat. night with Capt. Rocky and Capt. Chris on the JamMan charter boat out of Lewes, DE to do a little drumming! This boat is perfect, lots of room and reasonable rates. Plus, I have never done a trip that did not last much longer then expected, Rocky and Chris love to fish and they stay out!
the crew consisted of Frankie, Pap, Chris W., Tim (wingding), Jake the Drum Snake and myself. Left the dock at 5:30 sharp and proceeded to the spot where the JamMan landed the 85 lb drum the week before. Lots of fresh shucked clams and shell chum in the water. The drum were around but were not in a feeding mood so Capt. Chris entertained us with salty stories of past trips and experiances.
Picked up a few doggies, skates and the occasional horseshoe crab as the nigh got later. No one minded as we were laughing and having a good time. Then, around 11:30 Jake the Drum Snake hauls in a decent fish!
