Doe down 2 weeks in a row

Finally got some meat down. Shot a doe last weekend and one today. I've been working 6 days aweek and only have Sundays to hunt. One of my buddies sat me in a new spot this morning and I saw quite a few deer. Had this one come thru and give me a 20 yard shot quartering slightly away. Double lunged her. She didn't go far. Going to set there again next weekend.

I was at a local mart this weekend and they wanted $32.99 for two tiny, tiny, tiny pieces of Venison Tenderloin. :shock:

Yeah I went to the store and got a family pack of ground beef last week. Used to be like $14 now almost $19. Getting ridiculous.

Of course . Where I hunt it's bow only all season. Then bow hunt pigs at night after season. I have only had a chance to gun hunt twice in the last 11 years. Was lucky and killed something both times, but love my bowhunting. Got to fletch a dozen arrows tomorrow night.
