The boat I am currently working on (Rich line) has no drain holes in the splash guards or on the reinforcements that are riveted to the bottom. When I was hosing down the boat a lot of mudd and crud came out of them. Other aluminum boats I have owned namely Sea Nymph, had small holes to let water out. I am considering drilling drain holes to let the water out of these parts to help keep the boat clean. There was a lot of brown crud built up around the splash guards of my richline and I have seen other richlines with the same brown crud.
