I rarely see fish in SI/DI modes, mostly structure. I picked up a new to me boat this week that came with a Lowrance HDS 9 gen 3.  The touch screen and menu are quicker and more intuitive than the Helix 7.  I wasn’t impressed with the sonar and imaging but, that is likely just set up.  It does do very well at reading depth while on plane.  Unfortunately I won”t be able to play with it until spring.</blockquote>
