FatBoy Bass - Friday and Monday June 5 and June 8, 2009

Fished this past Friday in the rain and managed a few - all one JD Baits Fat Boy in Smoke w/ blue flake

This morning (Monday) hit another local pond and managed about 6 bass - one over 4 lbs

Again on the Fat Boy Senko

Weightless T-rigged on a 5/0 hook

same thing I'm doing... I've been using those Daichi twist hooks... they work good, but cut the bait in half after a few fish - but those are some of the sharpest hooks I have ever used.

Use an offset worm hook I use a wide gap or extra wide gap Skip Gap Hook from Gamakatsu

I believe they are called "Fat Boys" not Fay Boy.

Nice catching ESQUIRED and here is an older picture of a 6" fatboy compared next to a standard 6" stick

In the next week or so im expecting to also be getting the 5" fatboy mold in and eventually also the 4" version

Nice fishes, I havent gotten a bite on the fat sticks, Ive been fishing them on a 4/0 skip gap and workin them like a jerkbait for the most part.
