Dave, I bought the unit. I havent been on the water enough to play with it, but I think I will like it. Nice, big color screen. It has all of the configuration options that one would want to dial in on the fish.

As far as GPS, I don't know. It was not advertised as a GPS unit. IT does have a accessory port, so perhaps one could be added.
