Those little powerheads are full of polymer and lightweight materials. Get them hot once and they'll never be right again. Any failure in the engine almost always results in replacing the powerhead assembly, or scrapping the motor for parts if cost is prohibitive. Fuel economy is certainly a benefit, but with how most of us use our outboards, it is inconsequential. It would be different if you were running a trio of 250s 8 hours a day.</blockquote>
