Freshwater Trolling Motor in Salt Water

Thinking about taking a trip to the coast to shoot some stingrays with the bow. Will my freshwater TM hold up? Can I just wash it off after a day and call it good?

I do it to both of my boats trolling motors and have no issues

I've been using my power drive v2 for about 3 years heavily in salt water and still going strong

They do Better than I would have expected..Yes life is shortned..I have never used a TM in fresh water only Salt...Wash with soap and water after each use let dry and spray corrosion with WD or what you like..cva34
