fuel gauge float not floating

i have a quicksilver remote tank with the guage on it, it appears the float or bobber isnt floating. i know i can do the heavy tank=full or light tank = empty but i like being able to look over and go ok, cool we have plenty of fuel as my tank is strapped down. is there anything i can replace this bobber with or make it float again?

Talk to a merc dealer. There might be a replacement parts kit.
