Hey, I am a noob here trying to find some info on a engine I recently bought. Previous owner stated that it runs just fine, however, the petcock must be shut off prior to shutting the engine off or the cylinder will flood. I am thinking main jet needle and seat. We have found that the needle and seat are both metal, which is odd and we believe fuel is getting by them.
I am looking for schematics, tech manuals or anything that can steer me in the right direction. The only info I have off the engine is the power head tag: Tecumseh 640-19, 8008. The name written on the carburetor bowl is Lauson.
