 10:00am-1:30pm Overcast/light drizzle, light winds, lower 40's air temp, 46-47 water temps, stained. First cast with a 3/8oz white Boogee Bait resulted in a pikerel. Fished it for a while but had no other fish. Water levels are real high so I was able to fish brush and wood that are usually out of the water. So I worked the area with jig/chunk and a big Strike King tube. Nothing. So I backed away from the banks and worked a 1/2 oz. chrome blue bleeding shad over the grassy bottom. I managed one pikerel. Finished the day using a Rapala jerkbait with no results.
