hands free ?

Anybody use a transom electric motor with foot control? like hands free? I wonder if that would work, probably hard to learn, specially getting back on the trailer...

I have only seen one transom mount trolling motor with foot control built in. It would be cheaper to be cheaper to take a hand control trolling motor and buy a procontroll. The procontroll adds a pedal. I hope this helps.

i've seen those foot controlled transom mounts, but I just don't see how well they would work. I know fishing here in the south is a little different than up north because y'all do a lot of back trolling... but it just seems to me that that pedal would get in the way and be cumbersome to keep the boat in the position you are trying to. with a hand control, you can just tap it left or right and stay where you want... with the foot control it's almost like you would have to stay on it. But, like anything else, I'm sure you'd get used to it after a while.
