I just bought a old aluminum lil boat.
I know nothing about it, the manufacturer plate is weathered.
Can you guess the year? Specs on it?

I had a 12' boat as a kid, rated for 7.5. Do they really narrow it down to half a HP for power options?

That’s more a reflection of what HP the OBs were available in when those hulls were made, like most likely the only other higher option was a 10hp.

I don't think it is listed on the plate, certainly was never on any of mine. The serial number may give some indication.
