Help with storage compartments

I bought a 16' jon boat already decked off and i would like to know how to cut some storage compartments in to the deck can anyone help me

i can post tome pictures sometimes this week. I have no clue how it is framed it was decked when i bought the boat so not to sure but i know that the guy used wood to do it
