The Alumacraft are quality boats, I have one that is 27 years old and still solid as a rock. My younger brother, an old Coasty, has also been looking at the G3 for hauling crab pots for Blue Crabs and fishing for Rocks.   My experience tells me that there is no such thing as a "perfect" boat, there always seams to be a trade off somewhere.
