Ignition hook up?

Need help with ignition hook up? Got a 87 Mariner/Yamaha need to hook up to Merc ignition switch.
Motor wire colors....
red
black
blue
green
white
brown
pink
Switch colors....
red
black
purple
black/yellow
yellow/black
yellow/red
What goes where and where does my neutral safety switch and Magneto kill switch tie in..
My electrical knowledge is limited, I did get a new fuse box and switches put in so with a little
help I think I can get this...here is a pic of my Mod.

so black/yellow is gonna be your deadman wire. when i did it last, i connected it to the same post as a known ground in the remote. that was on an OMC remote without a factory deadman.

use this crossreference for your yamaha/mariner engine... never knew yamaha made things for mariner!

Didn't know either when I started this project. Took a lot of diggin to find out.
I guess Yamaha built these motors in the 80's mostly for the European market but made so many that
they found there way to north America, mostly on bass tracker boats. Good thing is all the looking and talking to
Mechanics they say that its one of the best 2 strokes ever made.
