Installing flood lights on a 12 ft flatbottom

I am wanting tio install to floolights on my boat and want to know what type of wire and batterysize I should go for. also to I am interested in modifying the bech seats by cutting the tops off and installing hinges on them. One seat will be a live well and the other storage I have never done either but, thought the seat idead was pretty cool but I dont know if it would screw up the boat.

There is a guide in the electrical forum that will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about boat wiring. Also, chances are unless your boat has false floors the benches are filled with floatation foam, or they should be. Taking out the foam is asking for trouble unless you install equivalent floatation somewhere else
