Message: <blockquote data-quote="Flying B" data-source="post: 523876" data-attributes="member: 37271"><p>Howdy!  I have a simple Jon Boat that has a 3" lip on the bow of the boat that is above the bow deck.  See photo below.  I want to mount a Minnkota bow mount trolling motor, a Terrova with spot lock most likely, to the bow of the boat.  These bow mounts motors are different than a typical, simple clamp system on the rail.  They require a flat surface to mount the motor base plate on.  Any suggestions for a simple way to do this?  Or any suggestions on past threads that have answered this question?</p></blockquote><p></p>
