I know the main percentage of yall are Bass Fishermen and i have now problem with that . I love to bass fish for Kentucky Bass and Small mouth here in our waterways .But my main passion is chaseing the Big Monster Blue Catfish in the Arkansas River . There is no feeling like it to me to battle a 30 lb + blue cat in strong current on the river . Somedays you win sometimes the Blue wins . My Question is,are there others on here that like to chase Catfish with Rod and Reel . I mainly CPR anything over 10 lbs. :?: :?:

this guy loves catfishin and the over all design of my "bassboat" has evolved to a more cat friendly edition! not much experience with the blues but love a beast of a channel cat or flat head

I like to fish - for everything

Salt is my real passion - offshore especially for Tuna and Marlin.

Use my tinny for FW bass, crappie, catfish, etc.

One of the best things is targeting and catching bruiser channel cats on lures - they hit like a frieght train and burn drag on the light bass equipment

Started out fishing for cats and crappie in the late 50 and 60 with cane poll. Later went to bass fishing in tournaments. Now i'm back to fishing for the cats and crappie from my small tin boat. I still enjoy sneaking off to the creak with my only tackle being a few hooks and sinkers with 30 feet of braided line stuffed in a medicine bottle and cutting my own pole and grubbing for my bait. A couple of channel cats or white perch or maybe a few goggle eye makes my wife and I a fine supper. Enjoy whatever you like.

We've got the BIG BLUES up here on the James. I have big heavy rods for big cats but the cat in my profile pic was caught on my bass jiggin rod with 25# braid on a grub worm.

I normally don't target one kind of fish, I like fishing for anything that will go after bait on a hook. I do have a cat rod that I use from time to time.

Did go crappie fishing a couple of weeks ago and that was fun.
