Kicker install on Tracker V16Pro

I just picked up a Merc 9.9 Kicker for my V16Pro. The main engine is a Merc 60 Bigfoot which just doesn't slow down well enough for trolling. My question to you all is the transom on the Trakers sufficient to mount the Kicker on the Transom next to the 60hp, or do I need a separate bracket. I know that this is the Heaviest 9.9 hp motor I've ever tried to pickup! Thanks a lot!

Guessing you have a four stroke ? Sounds like you might have overkill on your kicker motor. I have a 16' Sylvan side console (rated to 80 hp max) and I have a 2.2 up Merc kicker that works very well. It runs a little over half throttle for typical trolling speeds which smooths out the little single cylinder engine, but best part is....30 lbs total !
