Lowe 1760

I have a chance to purchase a lowe 1760mt with a 36 volt motor guide trolloing motor and a 50hp force w/ power tilt and trim for $4000. Should I jump on it? I don't really want a 50hp. Most lakes around here are 20 hp max. Would a 20 prop push this boat good enough? I also fish the river. A jet would be nice but $$$, holy cow. Just wondering since all I have now is a 1436 with a 6hp merc. Just looking for some real life experience. Thanks for the help.
