Lower Unit.

Just want your opinions, I changed my lower unit oil beginning of Winter, I want to change it again, I picked up the oil(grease) but forgot to buy the little washers that go with it, my question is do you think the new washers I put on with the winter change will be ok since I havent ran the engine yet or should I get new ones.

Those will be fine.I hardly ever change those.

They say to change them with every oil change...I've had outboards for 30 + years with an oil change every year
never changed one,mabey just luck,but never had a problem.Just be carefull not to damage them.
