Minnkota 36# lower unit locked up Need Help Please

So a guy at work gave me a free trolling motor, he said if i can get it running. The propeller will not turn at all free will as it should. I took the prop, two very long bolts off. Now it seems as though I can't get any deeper. I've never torn a rolling motor apart and use your guys' expertise. Thanks.

I'd have to see it to know, but the older ones you had to unscrew the cone cap off of the opposite end from the propeller and then the motor would slide out. You'll need a large pipe wrench to unscrew the cap.
