Monark year model?

I have a Monark 1458 - 14' that I have just started a conversion on and I'd like to find out the year model. Can anyone help?

See if you can find the HIN (hull identification number) located on the outside of the transom on the stbd side. All boats built after 1972 (ish, I believe) required this. If you find the HIN, it's a simple process (internet search). If you do not have one, it has been removed or built prior to 1972.

It didn't have the HIN tag on the transom. Anyway to find out by model # and/or serial #?

Try contacting Monark. Landau had some information on my '86, they were even willing to send a set of decals.
