More power from Tohatsu 15hp 2003 model

I have a 15hp 4 stroke on my Sylvan Super Snapper 140. I would like to get a little more power to get up on plane faster. I have noticed that the Tohatsu 15, 18, and 20hp have the same displacement of 351cc. Can I just upgrade carb to get more power. Thanks!

It's a possibility.
You need to look at a parts list of the motors to see what's different. Carb, Intake, Exhaust ect ect.
