mounting onboard charger

how does everyone mount theirs? if i put it on the floor of my bilge should i put somthing under it? starboard or plywood? dont seem to have the room to mount on wall of bilge area. aluminum rig. looking to purchase a 2 bank noco genuis mini. any opinions? new rig is electric start only and will hook grp 29 tm battery and grp 24 starting battery to it. any help appreciated. thanks

I wouldn't mount it to the floor in the bilge. They are water resistant not waterproof. I mounted mine under my console.

no can do under console. unit im looking at requires bolts when mounted on wall. im thinking of floor of bige up on some standoffs, 1 inch maybe. i could reconfigure battery layout but i would still need bolts and have no access to back side of wall.
