I really like those rod holders you made to fit the seats and run along the sides of the boat. Did you drill holes into the seats for the tips of the rods?

In the front I used 1 1/2in conduit for my tips to into ..in the back they're flush and fastened down through the plywood..

On the rod holders, they look like PVC. Is so, I have something similar on my boat. I had an issue with mine damaging my rods while running the boat or trailering. My fix was to get some cheap pipe insulation that fit the ID of the PVC and protects my rods tips. Just a thought.
