Need Wiring Diagram...

Anyone have a wiring diagram a 1976 40HP Johnson O/B? What I'm hoping to have is an electric choke that works off the key switch and a kill switch. Will need to know whats what on the motor and where they go. I'm pretty sure the two bigger wires go to the battery but no idea about the others.

Can you post a pic of your control. The older Johnsons have a seperate switch for the choke. The newer controls have choke that is an integral part of the ingnition switch.

Black/yellow is your kill circuit.
Purple/white is your primer or choke wire.

As of right now the only controls I have are the Shift/Throttle controls. Nothing electrical there...I was planning on buying a switch that would contain Ign/Choke and a kill switch. (If thats what you are talking about) Maybe someone has some ideas on what to buy?
