My boat has a factory 4' long front deck that is totally filled with foam below it and I don't want to cut into it to place a battery and don't want a battery box on the floor. The past two years I have ran the battery up there though connected with alligator clips to the TM. I have experimented with the battery in the battery location in the stern too and actually thought the boat ran a little better and allowed me to trim down one pin as well. I'm not sure why I don't get a bunch of bow rise....probably helps my motor is only 75 lbs and only have a 3 gal tank though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
