New 14' starcraft Jon ideas

Hey guys. I'm completely new to this and just picked up my boat today and have no 'good' idea where to start. The boats an '83 1436 fb. I planned on first stripping the paint and putting some kind of sealant or something on it since it's old and riveted. Then I figured I would put in a plywood floor and carpet it. I also want to carpet the seats since it's insanely hot out.

Please give me input. This is my first boat and I just want to make it look nice. What should I use for sealant? What kind of plywood? Any ideas for the seats?

I to am new to this so I kept it simple. I have an older 14' V StarCraft. I put a small casting deck with a seat up front and carpeted it and the 2 other seats. Put some fresh paint on the out side and mounted my trolling motor on the bow. Should work great for a few years till I decide to upgrade. Good luck. Lots of great ideas on here.
