Howdy, first post on Tin Boats. After many years of fishing a 1973 Valco shovel nose with a jet outboard I am picking up a new 1860 Tracker Grizzly tomorrow. I am remounting my 60/40 merc 2 stroke jet. I will be hunting and fishing out of this boat a bunch. Did not like the Tracker trailer and bought a trailer and boat and tossed the old boat. As I launch in some pretty nasty places and steep embankments I mounted a 3000 pound electric winch above the standard winch to pull the damn thing up the hill.
I will post some pictures as I get things rigged.
I have been running jet outboards for 35 years, own my own garage and pretty handy, feel free to ask any mechanical questions you have.
