New member needs Aluminum boat info

I'm a new member who is looking to buy a 12ft aluminum boat that I can put on my truck canopy racks. I tow a 28ft camping trailer so I need a boat to put on my rack. I want a boat that's light enough to get on my roof racks with 2 people. But also with a good weight capacity to handle 3 adults and a motor. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Also look for a used https://www.portaboteme.com. They pop up used all the time. My 12' was a one man operation. I used it with a company minivan that strictly prohibited a trailer hitch. Mine came with brackets to mount onto the side of a camper or RV. It was not fast but I only had a 2.5hp. It took a few moments to set up and you had to hual the seats and transom in a separate bag. It was built well, took a beating and I'm sure it would last decades.
