Message: <blockquote data-quote="Tin Man" data-source="post: 496594" data-attributes="member: 7021">I can see the same welds on new Crestliner boats just as well as the Trackers.  Crestliner was one brand I was considering and it is welded.  Alumacraft and Lund are both riveted so not a fair comparison.I believe the areas where you can see where the floor was welded into hull is part of the outcome when a floor structure is welded into the hull.  IMO.....nothing to do with quality and perhaps not entirely preventable.As far as quality comparisons between Tracker and much more expensive brands.....I believe the Tracker hulls, welds, and structural integrity are on par.Also, from my research, BPS did not recently purchase Tracker boats.  Tracker boars are made by White River Marine Group which has been owned by BPS from the beginning.
