I headed to Towhee, the instant my gf left my driveway. She had been at my place since tuesday, so I was itchin to fish. The weather was perfect, overcast with light rain off and on, with no wind. I was alone at the lake, so I was happy. I started out casting a frog, and within 5 cast I saw a big wake coming for my frog. It bit, and I hooked up. After a short fight, pulling through the pads and grass I lipped a decent bass around 3lbs. I decided to call Dave, since I knew he couldn't fish tonight, and rub it in a little bit :lol: I made another cast back to the same spot and started swimming my frog. I quickly saw another wake, and stopped my bait #-o Of course the fish stopped in its tracks, and that was the last action I saw the rest of the night. I only fished for about an hour and a half, so I was pretty happy. A flock of geese flew in and started to drive me nuts, so I took off.
