Options for covering

Wondering what my options are for covering the floor in my V. I was thinkin carpet but after looking at some of the selections I can just see problems coming down the road after a year or so of use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have the funds, I'd go with marine vinyl. I REALLY want to do that it mine, but it is pricey. The convenience factor is through the roof though... spray it down with a hose and the fish slime and sand is gone..

If you use carpet specific for boats or low pile you will not have problems with hooks. The marine vinyl gets hot here in the south during the summer, so most use a light colored carpet. If you epoxy the wood well and get rubber back carpet you should not have any problems. I know folks who have recarpeted their boats and have not had problems. Clean up is done with a hose if needed then let dry or a shop vac.
