I'm working on my 1032 and the PO has painted the interior a pale yellow color (exterior is still the stock green). I would like to redo the inside to match the outside (as close as possible). Is it really necessary to completely strip the areas I want to recolor or can I just scuff those areas with sandpaper and respray? I don't mind if it only lasts a couple years as it doesn't have to be pretty, just don't want it yellow.
