I have a 1969 wards sea king 16ft with a 75 hp Johnson. This thing is a barn find and it had a lot of holes from old rod holders and chrome trim. I'm just making it into a fishing boat and so I wanted to patch all the old holes and I used aluminum brazing to do that. All I did was sanded the surface wiped it with acetone then heated the surface with this butane torch and then used aluminum brazing to patch it and it was easy! And fast! I found these Aluminum brazing rods on amazon and they worked much better then the harbor freight ones.
This method just worked great for me on a budget and so I wanted to share it with you guys! :LOL2: Check It out!!! =D>
