The wife makes these so not sure of the exact method but I'm sure you guys can make it work.
In a 9 x 13 pan (it's about 2" deep") she puts the ribs in rounded side up. Season the ribs to your likeing if you want.
Add Pepsi about half way up the side of the pan.
Cover with tin foil and put in the oven at I think 250 for an hour or so (maybe longer, not sure)
Carefully turn the ribs over, cover with the tin foil and back in the oven for another hour or so.
DO NOT open the oven door, just turn the oven off and leave it in there for another hour or so.
Carefully (because they are going to want to fall apart at this point) remove from the pan, transfer to the grill and do your thing, adding sauce or whatever you like.
On the way to the grill, do not taste test because you will be full before the grill gets going. I've also heard some try cherry coke for a little more sweetness.
