Places to buy used 9.9hp outboards?

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me find some semi-local places to buy small used outboards. I'm in the market for a 9.9HP for a local 10HP limit lake. What I'm really looking for is someone who fixes up these types of small outboards as a hobby and always has a handful to sell. That way I can avoid having to pour through all the nearby Craigslist cities on a daily basis and can just check back with these hobby mechanics on a regular basis to see what they have. I live in North Alabama, about halfway between Birmingham and Huntsville.

So far I have stumbled upon a guy who regularly posts outboards on the Atlanta Craigslist and is from Woodstock, GA, which is a little over 3 hours away from me. He has a nice Youtube page showing them tank run and boat tested and if he had what I wanted for the right price it probably wouldn't be too far away get one. It would just cost me a tank of gas in my truck ($70) and basically an entire Saturday.

I would think there would be a good amount of these types of guys in East Tennessee which also would be in my range.

Almost any older authorized Johnson/Evinrude or Mercury dealer will either have one or two or should be able to guide you in the right direction. If they have one it will usually be more money than the ones you find in Craigslist but then again they are normally fully serviced and ready to go compared with the crap shoot you have to deal with in Craigslist.
