I know when I worked for the co-op, we required them on all new installs. I know several people that have a double male extension cord to backdoor their generator in through a wall socket though. As that is far outside of the established electrical codes, I will neither confirm nor deny if I have a similar apparatus and dedicated plug rated to handle the amperages involved lol.</p></blockquote><p></p>
