Now I know you're supposed to use self etching primer for our tin boats, but has anyone ever used 150 2 part epoxy primer? Its primarily used on Navy boats. We call it "Green Death" cuz that stuff will make you loopy after 10 minutes even in a decently ventilated spot. Its waterproof when it cures, and also has a slightly elastic or rubbery "flex" to it when it dries. I was planning on powdercoating my hull, but for a bunch of different reasons may do the 2 part primer, and a 2 part epoxy paint. They use this primer anywhere on the boat that may come into contact with water, whether its aluminum or steel so I'm figuring it would be ok, just wondering if anyone has any advice or opinions on using this stuff...
