ive got a mongomery ward sea king. kind of hard to compare with that pic, but its a good boat. a little flimsy (thinner alum) but it does just fine and I beat the crap out of it

Hard to see from the photo - if it is i WOULD NOT PAY THAT MUCH FOR IT (UNLESS THERE WAS A GOOD ENGINE INVOLVED)

1. That boat is gonna be super heavy to deal with (as compared with a tin boat)

2 PITA to work on if you have leaks or what not. Make certain there are no "soft" spots especially near the transom area

3. Check all the fitting really well - glass boats tend to loosen up over the years and you then might have to rebuild, tap and drill
 
I'm with Ahab. You aren't going to want the headache of a fiberglass boat of that age when aluminum boats will fit your purpose just fine. From the picture, I am 100% certain it is glass. Were it me in your shoes, I'd keep looking.
